So I very much enjoyed the video, thank you for posting it.

In this country we are grateful for glimpses of blue sky and a little sunshine, it has a very positive affect on mood and perception! The garden has even more early flowers appearing now and, although we have a way to go yet, it does feel as though spring is not too far away and life is filled with possibilities.
Thank you for your kind comments about my kitchen. It is the heart of our home and is normally busy with family and friends, not forgetting the pets, too.Elainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10461759848289268517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9200368268339522483.post-91057869076716269902017-02-20T07:14:29.994+00:002017-02-20T07:14:29.994+00:00Hello Bill, The birdsong levels around here have ...Hello Bill, The birdsong levels around here have increased and I heard a woodpecker tapping at a tree the other day. I always used to think that autumn was my favourite time of year but I think it may now be spring. I'm glad you mentioned bird houses, one or two of ours could do with a little attention.Elainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10461759848289268517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9200368268339522483.post-23507945352618798302017-02-18T18:15:15.453+00:002017-02-18T18:15:15.453+00:00So beautiful the header with the photo of Parsonag...So beautiful the header with the photo of Parsonage Cottage Kitchen!sonia a. mascarohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02415359150944729620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9200368268339522483.post-23462442709740517722017-02-18T18:12:42.740+00:002017-02-18T18:12:42.740+00:00Love the photos of your garden, Elaine!

My grandchildren find them magical, so do I.
We start eating rhubarb very enthusiastically, but this particular crown is such a heavy and prolonged cropper that we give away great bundles of it. No doubt I shall also end up making rhubarb and custard cake, as well as crumbles, which my husband loves.
Enjoy your weekend.
Congratulations on your 100th post! We have guests right now, including our three year old grandson and his eleven week old brother. The house noisy and full of - energy! I am saving your post to read, enjoy, and wallow in nostalgia when things are quiet once again. This crown has always done well, I think it may have something to do with location which is not too far from the septic tank. It was there before we bought the place and always produced great rhubarb.
