Has The Cat Got My Tongue?

I find myself struggling to bash out a blog post.

Words have deserted me.

So many posts started, then abandoned.

This blog has come to a standstill.

My thanks to everyone who commented on my previous post
and
my apologies for not getting around to answering you.

I will be back when I find my words.

  1. Oh, I am so sorry you have hit a blogging wall...

But it happens to most of us, at one time or another.

Perhaps it's the time of year? :-) February can be one of the shortest, but *longest* months of the year. Due to the weather and such...

Whatever has caused it, I hope you will enjoy your time away from blogging. And come back, renewed.

And please remember... Our posts do not have to be "amazing" or "delightful" or "full of information" or.... Etc. :-) At times we may get bogged down in our expectations for our blogs.

    Let's not...

But let's always keep our blogging enjoyable, for US!!!!

    Lots of hugs...

  2. But Dear One, please do go to your last post's comments!!!

And Delete that awful Escorts comment.

Full of I can just imagine what awful links!

I'm no prude but I do bristle at this CRAP, being left on our blog comments.

Yes, I had one too! But I moderate my comments, so it never got to see the light of day, on my blog.

Please... Take a minute... We just never know what is being put in our comments, even on old posts, if we don't moderate.

    Hugs...

  4. Totally understand. I too struggle on what to post especially when I haven't been anywhere to share what I've seen.

And I too have had that nasty comment placed on my blog. It's making the rounds.

  5. I put it all down to the weather, Elaine. And if it's something more, well, the weather still brought it on! See you down the road.

  6. I am feeling a bit like that myself. Words sometimes just won't come... Your last post was lovely. I always enjoy reading about Owl Wood.

  7. I always blame everything on the weather, although there is lovely sunshine today which makes a change.
Enjoy your blogging rest and hope you return refreshed

  8. I went through this patch recently, that's why the cat and dog story chapters came into being. Blogging those chapters gave me breathing space. Anyway, I too welcome your return.

  10. Writing can either be wonderful and freeing, or a big, fat effort. Take some time to let your mind relax. We'll be here when you get back! xo

  11. Not to worry at all! I know the inspiration block happens, and when it does one just needs to rest the brain and walk... Enjoy some coffee, and some veggie soup! Share some soup with the cats, and maybe they will unleash the words! The best to you!

  13. At least you are alright, just the words failing you. We have so many chores in life, best not let blogging become one too.
